Everything about this connection session blew my mind. Government Cove is one of the dreamiest spots in the Columbia River Gorge, and it’s really a photographer’s paradise. The sweeping cliffs, the sunset light, the rock formations, the trees, the stillness, and so many different spots to create imagery.
Shauna and Jon have such a lovely way about them. They have been together about 3 years and for this session we wanted to create some art that highlighted their connection to each other and to nature. It was such a special evening to capture at sunset, and it was one of those incredible sunsets that just didn’t quit. The final scenes are some of my favorites. Being in such a beautiful space reminded us how lucky we are to live in this area. It’s such a treat!
