Hi there! I am just so obsessed with this dreamy Portland Engagement session. Brittani and Nemo are beyond stunning and a treat to photograph. “Excited” doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about photographing their wedding this year!
We spent a fun end-of-summer afternoon and evening together, taking advantage of the epic golden hour light here in Oregon. We met up at Barista in NW Portland, a spot they used to frequent when they lived in the area. After cruising around the NW city streets, we watched sunset at the Powell Butte Nature Park amidst tall, grassy fields and perfect golden light.
One of my favorite parts of the session was when the couple took photos of each other with their film cameras. It was so fun to see them interacting behind the lens, and it really added a personal touch to the whole session. Such a cinematic vibe! Incorporating activities like having coffee, playing with a film camera, or opening up a bottle of sparkling bubbles together are all great ways to create more interest with your engagement photos. And it’s so fun!
I adore capturing real moments and emotions as they unfold. We laughed, we toasted with champagne, and we watched the sunset together. It was such a special experience.
