I was so thrilled when Jordan and Matt reached out to me about their Hoyt Arboretum Redwood Deck Elopement plans. They may be one of the loveliest couples I’ve had the opportunity to work with and it was such a joy to be part of their beautiful day. Jordan found me on Instagram and it’s always so helpful to know social media connects me with clients! :)
Jordan and Matt originally planned a wedding for June of this year, and as so many couples have had to change up their plans, these lovely souls decided they didn’t want to wait another year to say “I do.” They designed an intimate elopement at Hoyt Arboretum’s Redwood Deck. Hoyt Arboretum is known as a “living museum” and is truly one of the most serene sanctuaries in the city.
They said their vows amongst the redwood trees and with the dreamiest golden light twinkling through the forest behind them. After the ceremony, they shared a first dance set to a song that held special meaning from a concert a few years ago. We walked the trails together and found different places for photos that highlight the gorgeous and vast forest we are so lucky to have right in the middle of Portland.
Thank you to the amazing and talented vendors who brought this elopement to life:
