Driving to the Columbia Gorge, the start of fall, the moodiest vibes, dramatic waterfalls, very cool people, awesome tattoos, a sweet little pup…this session was a dream for this Columbia Gorge Elopement Photographer.

Jake and Hoku have such great chemistry and energy. We wanted these photos to capture their connection, and the moods and atmosphere of this incredible place we call home. Latourell Falls is a great spot with so many different scenes to capture. As a Columbia Gorge Elopement Photographer, Latourell Falls is one of my favorite locations to recommend for an elopement or couple session. It’s a quick hike down to the falls, and it’s a gorgeous scene whether it’s sunny, raining or overcast.

We spent the afternoon exploring the lower falls and then took some portraits with their sweet pup Gumball (how great is that name?). I really love when couples incorporate their pets into photo sessions. :)
