Steffanie and Markus originally planned to elope in Greece this summer, and had to make an alternative plan given the global pandemic. Haystack Rock and Cannon Beach hold a special place in their hearts, so Steffanie knew that when Greece was out of the question this year, she wanted an end of summer sunset ceremony on the Oregon Coast. This intimate Haystack Rock Wedding at Cannon Beach was so special for me to document.

Throughout the week the weather forecast showed clouds and rain for the wedding day. And of course we had planned the evening around sunset, wanting the ceremony to start right before the sun went down. We were so lucky to have the most beautiful end of summer light and clear skies for their Cannon Beach Wedding. One of Steffanie’s close friends officiated the ceremony and they invited their personal circle of family and friends to join them.

As an Oregon Coast Wedding Photographer, it’s such a treat to be part of a coastal celebration like this one. The day was truly centered around the couple and their love, and my aim was to create images that represented what I saw and felt around me: so much love.
